About Us
Welcome Note from Ms Kirsty, Director of Indigo Valley Nursery
Dear Parents,
Welcome to Indigo Valley Nursery! Our website aims to give you relevant information about our Nursery school and the programme we offer. However, the best way to learn about our Nursery is to come and spend some time with us. We welcome visits from prospective families; Nursery staff will happily show you our facilities, discuss our programme and answer any questions you might have.
Indigo Valley Nursery was purpose built within the Al Twar 2 area, close to Airport Terminal 2 and Dubai Airport Free Zone and opened in September 2010. Our aim is to provide a high quality education programme for babies aged two months to children four + years in a safe and secure environment. We are very proud to be part of Ms. Bernadette King-Turner's Nursery group that is committed to excellence in early year’s education. We have beautiful facilities that are especially designed for little hands and an excellent staff team, committed to caring for and educating your little ones.
On behalf of all the team, I hope you have an enjoyable and memorable time as partners in your child's learning at Indigo Valley Nursery.
Warmest wishes,
Kirsty Midgley
Nursery Director
About Us
Indigo Valley Nursery School for kids in Dubai is a purpose built, open-plan Nursery with thirteen well equipped classrooms, including a Montessoriclassroom, a baby care room, two dining areas, a multi-function room, a large indoor play area, a cosy children's library, a Learning Support Unit to support children with Special Educational Needs and beautiful gardens - home to our suitably shaded children's swimming pool, children's tennis court and sensory garden.
Our qualified staff help your children to develop confidence, self esteem and their own personal character. The emphasis is on play for all the children’s age groups; developing to a more structured but flexible day, as the children become older and enter the pre-school classrooms. All teachers follow a structured Academic learning program, devised using the British Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and the New Zealand Early Years Programme - Te Whariki.
We strongly believe in 'Inclusion' at Indigo Valley Nursery School for kids, therefore, we always welcome children with learning difficulties and highly gifted children.
