Health And Safety

The safety for the children at Indigo Valley Nursery is our top priority.  Because of this, we have the following Health & Safety features:

A Fully equipped Nursery Clinic with three Registered Nurses, all of whom are licensed with the Government of Dubai Health Authority.

Children's temperatures are taken by the nurse every day upon arrival into the nursery.

We have our own full time ‘housekeeping’ staff so all our cleaning equipment and materials are used only within our Nursery and all are closely monitored and controlled.

28 cameras on our 24 Hours CCTV watches over the entire Nursery.

All our exits are 'double gated' so that a ‘safe’ area is between the first gate and the second gate to the car park/road.

The swimming pool is strictly ‘Nursery size and depth’ with the deepest part of the pool being 70cm deep and is protected with a 2 metre fence with self closing lock plus an additional 1.2metre gate for added security to the pool area.

All Nursery staff holds Emergency First Aid Training with ‘Emergency First Response’ – Care for Children.

All food handlers hold certificates of the Boecker Intermediate Food Hygiene Training Course.

All Nursery Staff hold Labour Cards and are qualified Nursery Practitioners – some of their qualifications as listed:

Master of Arts in Education
Bachelor in Elementary Education
Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education
Bachelor of Science in Midwifery
Bachelor of Science in Nursing

We have staff that are designated to care for all your children’s bathroom and potty training needs and are assigned only to this duty – classroom staff do not need to leave their classrooms to take the children to the bathrooms, as each classroom has their own set of child friendly toilets.

Housekeeping staff’s duty is to keep the Nursery classrooms and all other areas clean and tidy throughout the day.

Security Guard on the Nursery Premises.

Nursery gardeners care for the Nursery gardens and outside play areas.
